I have 25 years teaching experience with Mature students, 16-19, this included teaching young offenders. I have experience teaching BTEC programmes, Higher Apprenticeship foundation degrees, Diplomas in Nursing/Health related courses.
Before teaching I was a qualified nurse working with patients with Neurological conditions, I mentored many student nurses and medical students.
I have experience as a Course leader, a mentor and personal tutor in schools and colleges- this included some supply work in schools.
Recently I have worked at the University of East Anglia supporting students with their career options, going into schools and colleges doing talks and presentations about university and student life in HE.
Also, I have worked abroad at University of Bucharest teaching Scientific English to students.
