I have worked for over five years in a Special Educational Needs school as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, and Thrive Licensed Practitioner, taking on teaching responsibilities where needed. While working at the school, through talking to parents and carers, I recognised the need for support for those children who could not access mainstream education and left to become a tutor. Working with SEMH children is a sometimes complex, often rewarding, and invariably challenging role. Some of the children have had incredibly challenging starts to their lives and to be able to make a difference to their future and be an adult they can rely on, who is consistently there for them, is where I want to be. I offer tuition for Reception, Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and Year 6.
