I am passionate about languages and History, and my ultimate aims are to instil my love of learning in my students and to ensure they are successful in their exams. I believe languages are fundamentally important, as they promote greater cultural awareness and provide a valuable tool for communication which can open doors for the future, in terms of both work and leisure. Moreover, the study of History is fascinating, especially considering the importance of past events on societies and cultures. I have found that the study of History develops the skills of logic, debate, and analytical precision and as such the subject complements numerous academic and vocational trajectories. Having tutored for 15 years now, I am very proud of the consistent academic success achieved by my students, as well as the less tangible but equally important improvements to their confidence and appetite for learning. Lastly, I have a wide range of experience in tutoring students with learning difficulties and helping them to fulfil their academic potential
