My greatest passion in life is teaching. I was educated in Oxford and I have experienced great success at school and at university due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. I am committed to helping my students reach their full potential, whatever their abilities may be. I have a Level 5 OFQUAL qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I have OVER 2+ years of experience teaching in English and Maths in a classroom as well as 1.1 tutoring. I have taught Phonics, Reading, and Writing in a primary school in London (levels KS1, KS1, KS3), as well as tutoring one on one and small groups classes to ages 8 – 18 years old. For these age groups I taught; creative writing, critical thinking, poetry, reading comprehension, grammar, exam preparation and interview preparation. All my students reached their grades in order to attend their first school of choice! I also have experience teaching children with special educational needs, especially those diagnosed with Autism. I have a thorough understanding of how to use Pecs and Macaton to help develop emotional, academic and social growth. Primary School levels KS1, KS1 and KS3 (primary school). Currently, I am studying a masters degree specializing in teaching elementary students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, rounding out my undergraduate background in primary education. I have been tutoring and teaching for 8 years in various settings – tutoring small and large groups, private individual tutoring, and teaching in rural, suburban, and urban classroom and home settings.
