I am currently a final year English Literature student at Durham and have previously tutored both A-level French and English. Despite now pursuing a degree in English, I worked as an Au Pair in Paris during my Gap Year and have taken elective modules in French at Durham so am very much an enthusiastic linguist.
As a student myself I am no stranger to the fact that studying towards exams can be tedious. That being said, I believe that academic success and enjoyment are intrinsically linked. So, I’ll not only help you achieve the results you are aiming for but (hopefully) you’ll also enjoy the process!
I am a bubbly and friendly person and I love teaching and developing a relationship with my tutees. I have excellent subject knowledge, and a knowledge of exam techniques, but my approach to tutoring centres on the relationships I build with students; I understand that each student is unique and believe in taking a tailored approach. I am also more than happy to support students with UCAS preparation in addition to subject tutoring.
