I love every aspect of Classics and I love sharing my enjoyment and knowledge with students. I am sympathetic with study problems, and I try to find strategies to deal with them on a one-to-one basis. I am also quite keen on exams, and I like my students to perform their very best – I find that they usually do very well!
Over my career, I have successfully taught Latin, Greek and Classical Civilisation at every level and in many contexts. I was also for many years an OCR examiner for A-level Classical Civilisation, an invaluable help with focussing on exam technique.
