The tutor says of himself:

I have been a passionate and committed teacher of Geography and Environmental studies up to A Levels for 18 years at an outstanding school and Geography department in Norfolk, with group results up to VA 2 at A Level. Additionally, I’ve been an examiner for AQA and OCR in geography and have led revision sessions for different AQA and OCR units. I specialise in human and physical geography fieldwork, investigations and essay techniques that are more prevalent at A Level. I’m from the Lake District and have led many Geography residential fieldtrips with students in The Lakes and Norfolk. I’m well travelled to 90 countries including Iceland, The US, South America and the Middle East. My tutor style is very much student centred and as a facilitator of insightful suggestions and improvements. I keep my OCR and AQA resources and revision aids current.

Here is some of the recent feedback Rob has received:

Dear Rob, I just wanted to thank you for tutoring Sam; my impression has been that your lessons have made him feel more confident about Geography and about going into his exams, which I think he really needed.

Dr B from Norwich

Hi Simon, Yes, it is a happy feeling that Max got an A. His college had difficulty in retaining teachers for this subject and Max felt a little dejected by this. I feel it right to say that without your service Max would not have got an A in environmental science. Yet the most pleasant thing about Rob that comes to mind is how happy Max felt working with him. Rob appeared to give a lot more than what was normally expected and he also appeared to be heavily invested in Max’s wellbeing and success, appearing very keen and interested in the subject. I was very happy with this. It was heart felt happiness at the time that Max felt and was so supported. So, thanks for the service and I’ll be saying the same to Rob. Do take this as feedback to publish if you want. All the best, Mark
