The tutor says of herself:

I worked for 8 years as a primary teacher before having my own family. After a career break (following second pregnancy and birth of twins) I worked in a secondary school resourced provision for children with autism and ADHD, and as a one to one tutor with year 11 maths students. I upskilled in subject knowledge so that I could teach up to GCSE higher level, continuing to use my in-depth understanding of numeracy to help pupils gain secure understanding. I worked with grade 2 and 3 students, analysing past papers and providing the targeted support required by them to achieve a pass, as well as students aiming for grade 7 or above. I pride myself on being able to identify the gaps in knowledge and misconceptions which are holding children back in maths and addressing these. I have successfully helped FE students who have failed maths at school to pass GCSE while studying vocational courses. I have also recently worked with a year 6 pupil on preparation for their English SATs.
