The tutor says of herself:

I have worked in education since 1990, a teacher for ten years with many years guiding and overseeing learning development in a variety of contexts. I have taught at secondary level as a Drama teacher and GCSE exams co-ordinator, and within the Primary sector as a supply teacher. I have also undertaken placements in Secondary English departments and in Drama departments. I recently tutored a young person who successfully achieved a pass in his GCSE English re-take. I have been a facilitator for adult and undergraduate degree students, both in F.E. and university settings, across a range of subject disciplines. My most recent role was as an A Level academic and pastoral Tutor in a 6th Form college. A significant aspect of the academic support was guiding first and second year students through the university application process. Consequently, I have considerable experience both with editing UCAS personal statements and compiling UCAS references. I have an honours Degree in English Literature with Drama and a PGCE in Drama. My teaching experience and proven versatility across the education spectrum would enable me to support your child, young person or, indeed, you personally to deepen your understanding and attainment in the disciplines of English or Drama.
