The tutor says of herself:

An enthusiastic and motivated BSc Honours graduate from St George’s University of London, currently studying for my MSc Cardiac Physiology degree at Middlesex University and working as a full-time Cardiac Physiologist with the NHS.
Tutoring for 4 years, I have a vivid passion to share my knowledge and motivate others in their learning. Throughout these years, I have taught in groups and have also done one-to-one sessions. My teaching style varies from student to student. Those who are more than capable of understanding the syllabus are the students who need a boost to aim higher than their predicted grades.
Repetition of completing questions (i.e. from past papers) and improving on exam techniques will be beneficial in these cases. Students who need a little more help in understanding the subject will have the topics explained to them in a more suitable way. For example, if students find it difficult to absorb information from a large textbook, then notes with colours and pictures will be provided for better visual. I use a unique method called ‘CKS’ method in helping students memorise content.
As a student myself, I am greatly appreciative of the teachers who have not only furthered my knowledge but have also guided me and equipped me with the wisdom to analyse situations around me and respond accordingly and to view the world from different perspectives. As a tutor, I hope to do the same and more. I aim to nurture young minds to develop their general knowledge and, using this knowledge, to make positive contributions to the world in later life.
